Well Alice is 7 nearly 8 months old now and this is week 12 of him not eating :(
I have tried absolutely everything to try and get him eating again but nothing is working.
Im a bit worried that him being so young will mean that this might stunt his growth?
I called the shop i bought him from and they want me to bring him in on saturday so hopefully they will be able to help but until then is there anything else i should do??
Any advice would be much appreciated. He was eating fine when we 1st got him, nothing changed, he just literally went off his food one day.
Please help :(

If hes going in to the shop, the best thing you can do is leave him alone until then. Check his heating equipment is right and accurate, and then leave him be only changing the water every 2 days.

The simplest thing can cause a snake to go off its food, and it can easily be overlooked. Photos of your set-up will give clues.
As I said, the smallest thing can make a big difference. If someone was to say they tried "chick scenting" for example and it didn't cause the snake to eat, that doesn't mean it wont work. If someone else tried it they will inevitably do it differently and it may work.
There are millions of variables, you can't try them all. |
