Hi all,
I've been very lax at posting pics recently, it has been a bit mad around here. Of course being the the middle of the breeding season hasn't helped.
Anyway, a few updates on the holdbacks from last year...
0.1 Lava ph Cinder. She just keeps getting lighter with each shed. I just couldn't let her go.
0.1 Cinder ph Diffused. She is probably the darkest Cinder we have produced so she had to stay to see what happens with her colours. She will help with our Cinder line breeding plans too.
0.1 Topaz ph Motley. Also getting lighter with each Shed. I love the contrast with those Lava eyes and the yellow on the body.
0.1 Snow Stripe ph Lavender. She came from an Amel het Lavender Stripe pairing, turns out there was Anery in there too. She was meant to be sold twice but it fell through. I guess it is fate to keep her. Interesting with the red patch on her back. I expected that to fade with time but not as yet.

We bred Granite Stripe X Sunkissed ph Anery, Amel or Ultra, Motley. So it turns out she is het Anery and Motley but we didn't test for Amel or Ultra. We kept s group back from this breeding because the colours and patterns are quite interesting. We are testing the female Sunkissed for Stargazer this year, hopefully we will have a clean project here. 01. Anery het Sunkissed Diffused Stripe
Another Cinder, this time 1.0 Cinder ph Lava. He has a really dark belly, almost the same colour as his saddles.
1.0 Diffused het Hypo ph Lavender. I just had to keep this lad because he is really dark has has an almost drawn on pattern.
0.1 Honey ph Motley. She is getting lighter with each shed.

1.0 Hypo Cinder. I love the almost white colour in the ground.
0.1 Pewter. This guy came from breeding 1.1 Diffused het Hypo Lavender. Not quite what I was expecting!
1.0 Sunkissed Stripe ph/homo Diffused. Not sure about the Diffusion here, only breeding will tell I think but there was certainly a good number of Diffused in the clutch. He also thought it was going to be possible to swallow me whole.. Cute.
Finally 1.0 Tessera het Amel Diffused. This lad was an import in 2010 but I couldn't resist putting him in here
Phew.. done.

Absolutely stunning! The honey is to die for and the anery, and the cinder, and the....well, all of them! I'm suprised you can sell them, they're so cute! Especially the little guy trying to make a meal of you! Dare I ask how much a Honey goes for? |

UNfortunately we sold the male at the end of last season. Mum is going to a normal het hypo lavender diffused caramel though (if they manage to get it on ever that is!) |

Hey all,
Thanks for the lovely comments.
It is certainly hard to let them go, we always end up with too many holdbacks!
A Honey will go for about £200 I imagine this year. Sunkissed Caramel is still quite rare in Europe.
