There is very little you can do for it yourself. This snake needs to see an experienced exotics vet. Where are you located and do you know of one? Call them now and get an immediate appointment.

Your snake is eggbound. This means it can't pass the eggs itself. If left inside the snake they will rot and kill it. Have you got any photos? If not dont disturb the snake to take some.

How old is she? Has she been bred this season or are the eggs infertile?

ideally she should have laid them at once or over a day or so at the most as its been a week she is eggbound and may not be able to pass the rest of them herself now, she needs treatment from a vet as matty has mentioned, and as soon as.

wouldn't surprise me if there's more internal damage..........for somebody to get her to pass the eggs that have been stuck for over a week now.....without surgery.....

thats great news :)

I had a similar incident last year where I managed to get half a dozen stuck eggs out but she sadly didn't make it (yes she also went to the vets before I get flamed! :D )

I had the same problem, same solution, same outcome. She's probably going to die, she didnt relapse pushing, she prolapsed because she was forced. After so much time she wouldn't be able to push, the natural stage of pushing is well passed.
It's an almost dead very that internal damage is done.

I gather from your posts she was bred at 2 years old, kinda asking for it really.

thankyou,i know it was a risk but seeing as he is a reputable breeder who gave me both my snakes i put my trust in him,he has hundreds of snakes and fair few reptiles and has bred them for many years, she is stil in a seperate container as i dont want the male to bother her,she is mooching about as i write this,so with everything crossed i can only wait and see,as for the comment that i asked for this as she was young thats very harsh as i never planned on breeding her i never knew they were male and female till he was mating her,ive not has snakes befor so it was new to me,i came onto her for advice not to be slated as i care very much for all my animals, but thank you to all who commented

I didnt mean it as a 'you asked for it' type thing, i meant it as exactly as it was worded, breeding at that age is asking for trouble.
Whether you knew or not, its irrelevant, you should have known. The same way I should have known when i did it 20 odd years ago.
These things happen, its crap, there is nothing we can do to change it, however, we can learn from it.

I didnt slate you, i gave you information, it might not have been what you wanted to hear, but advice isnt always what we want to hear.

i think myself and mike are more cross at this 'reputable breeder' that has given you rubbish advice, possibly to the detriment of your snakes' health, which may still result in death cos god only knows what this woman has done
i know people are particularly vulnerable when they're learning and look up to and listen to people that appear to know what they're on about. unfortunately it's only when you're armed with a certain amount of knowledge that you can see through these people.

i really do hope she pulls through and i'd be very inclined to take her to a proper reptile specialist vet for examination
