My little Siren has gone walkies! I came downstairs this morning and glanced at her viv and notice the cardboard between the doors had fallen out. So I checked and got my OH to double check that she wasn't in her viv and she wasn't She must have pushed her way out!! I fed her on sunday so I'm not sure she'd be interested in a bottle trap but I might try one. I'm so upset!!! I'm always so careful as I know how easily they can escape! |

Look in all the warm places in your house first, then dark places and those nearest to Siren's viv. I'm fairly sure there's a sticky on escaped snakes but I don't know how to link. See if you can find anything in a search. Or maybe a mod will do it for you...........pretty please I hope she turns up fit and well very soon.
Edit to add, look in general posts at 'Help - snake is lost' gives the link I was talking about. |

Thanks guys! I read the link and was slowly going through the room where she got out. Thankfully we've found her!!! She was curled up inside a speaker! Took us ages to get her out and craig was threatening to wring her little neck when we finally got her out! But she's unhurt and safely back in her feeding tub until we put the room back together and find something stronger than cardboard to secure her viv!!!! |

they are a plastic strip shaped like a U but the 2 edges pinch in tight so they look like a tear drop from the end and you push them onto the edge of the glass doors and it closes the gap and stops little ones wriggling between the gap. |
