Blimey, zombie snake.

Shame you fed him as he may have suffered some sort of injury that could cause a problem. I would have packed him off to the vets.

How crushed was he?? Great he's woken up again but feeding him may not have been the best idea. I'd get him to the vets.

What do you think happened to him? Did he have something fall on him or did he squeeze under something and get stuck then get too cold and shut down?

When they are squeezing through stuff their heads distort and squish, if he just got stuck and then cold he would have just needed warming up but if something fell on him or something like that he may be injured and if he was knocked out cold (never thought about whether you can knock out a snake, I suppose you can) its more likely to have damaged him.

Ring a vet if I was you, whether he has eaten or not you don't want to go through all that just for him to die a few days later because of a broken rib or something.

It was just his head his body was poking out from under the clock ,my friend says that snakes sometimes pretend to be dead by going limp and flattening it's head...not sure ..... When he was 'dead' I put his head back to normal and then put him in a little box, then 2 hours later he flicks his Tongue out ,so I checked to see if he could move and if there were any broken bones and he seemed fine but you can't be too careful...

If there was no impact its less likely but not impossible that he has injured himself but if its not a body injury it should be OK with the feed you have given him but keep an eye on him, their teeth are delicate and he may have broken them or damaged the bone structure in the head. I would be tempted to get an X-ray just to be sure all is well but how strange is that, thank goodness you didn't bury him.

I know right! It must of happened shortly before I got in from school coz he was not far from his. Cage,I looked at his teeth when he was supposedly dead and they were fine -never seen his teeth before ,I'm just wondering how much it would be for an x ray,lol my man said call him Jesus :)

It wouldn't be really expensive for such a small X-Ray but they'd probably need a few to check over all the different bits that make up the head.

if he'd got particularly cold this could be the reason he was limp and lifeless.......though playing dead isn't something corns do, it's not even something hoggies do that often and it's meant to be in their repetoire!

Not quite so exposed and without having his head stuck gave him somewhere dark to just sort himself out.

Spot got stuck in a 6mm air hole once but nothing too serious, it took a few minutes to free him and he distorted his head as he pulled it through but he emerged unhurt. My nerves were wrecked but he was fine.
