Snakes are sods, if you haven't thought of every single thing they could do they will get themselves in trouble, even if you miss one thing they will find it and do it.
The really important thing for you to do now is work out how he escaped and fix it so it doesn't happen again. |

When it comes to ensuring he can't get out again, may I be the first of many to say they have learnt on this forum to use NO sticky tape of any kind within a mile of a snake or it's viv. I've heard lots of stories of it causing really nasty injuries and even death. I think you and Charlie have been through quite enough already!

Sorry, should have quoted the full joke:
You need 3 things in life - oil, duct tape and a hammer. If it moves and shouldn't, use duct tape, if it doesn't move and should use oil, if that doesn't work use a hammer
Personally I use folded up A4 card in the big gap and aquarium sealant in the little ones. |
