Hi,

A bit concerned about Vin as he started dulling down and hiding about 12 days ago, then his eyes clouded sunday. He de-clouded Tues but he still hasn't shed! He's gone 15 days since eating as he went dull just before his feeding day and refused, so I decided to wait until after his shed, but now concerned!

Lifted him out yesterday and he's clear eyed but dull, he hid straight away when returned to his faun. Advice please!

leave it be for a bit it will shed over the next few days or so.

There is no fixed timeline for the shedding process, but dont worry about it not feeding for 2 weeks that is nothing for a snake

as gmac says, try not to worry
it's not an unusually long timescale and not feeding for the duration shouldn't be a problem either

Awww thanks guys, probably panicking because its my first time with a shed! He seems his usual lovable self when out, completely obsessed with my glasses, just hiding in faun and dull, he'll be very ready for his pinkie when he's done!

Got very anxious last night and declared that no Boa will be joining the household if I can't cope with a 24-week old shedding corn snake! x

Try not to worry. I know, easier said than done, but he will be fine and before much longer you will have a super fresh looking snake!

He's shed! Found an entire shed, including eye caps and tail tip tonight! Vin was lurking in his roof, back to his normal active self! Pics in photo section soon! x

Thanks everyone! Lol I think they do do it on purpose! I don't know how I'd cope with more than one snake! Probably die of worrying! x
