I recently just brought my corn snake nearly about a week ago, so im still learning about him. A few hours ago he was chilled out in my hoodie and his head was poking out near my neck. I lifted up my arm to move my hair and all of a sudden his head moved quickly to the side. At first i thought he was backing away to go hide but i realised his head was facing the side and he was still then i thought is he playing dead? It was earlier on about 8ish so the light was on which i think would of caused a shadow having him to react like this...

I touched him and he soon moved his head back up normally, but it was just as soon as i raised my arm that he quickly dropped his head to the side.

Opinions?

corns as a rule do not play dead, whats more likely is that when you moved you arm, you changed the angle that he was sitting at by moving your hood also.
