my baby snakey sparkey used to be lovely now hes an ****! everytime i go near him he strikes at me! im quite sad about it. why has he changed ive not done anything to hurt or scare him, i dont get it?

How long has he been behaving in this way? It could be that he's going into shed perhaps. Has anything changed in regards to his set up?

the last week and only that ive put loads more aspen in for him to burry into in the cold end thats it the same feeding days ive upped his food by one pinky

How often have you tried to handle him? If you keep persisting day in and out he wont calm down, leave him be for a few days and then try again.

i usually handle him everyday for like 10mins cos i thort the more i handled him the better he would get....soooo ive made it worse then haha should i leave him for a week or so then try again?

Yes just leave him for a while, like Mort said above, maybe going into shed but you will notice if he does. I am sure you will get more advice too but if it were me I would leave the handling for 3/4 days and then try again. How long have you had him?

ive had him since 28th jan i got him for my birthday but hes scared me abit i no hes tiny but i dnt expect it then he just launches at me :( im a new snakey owner

don't wory about it, thats what baby snakes do. He should grow out of it eventually.

You have yourself a perfectly normal stroppy baby snake. Give him a few days peace, (he may surprise you and turn blue) and give it another try, keep your movements around him slow but confident.
