hi, going to set my faun up this evening, getting snake tomorrow, just wondering where I put the mat stat sensor? I understand you tape it to the mat, but does it go directly underneath the faun, in the middle of the mat?
cheers for any advice, dont fancy drilling a hole to stick it inside the faun. |

with the Faun, you can tape the stat probe to the mat no problem, i tend to tape about 1 inch infront of the electrical connection.
as soon as you transfer the mat to inside a viv or larger faun, you should stop using the tape completely, if they get stuck in it, it may, or rather, can cause problems. |

Just to clarify, thats with the heatmat OUTSIDE the faun.  |
