hi all, new here, will be getting my first corn snake (a hatchling) in a few days once my set up is sorted, I have basically gone with what littlemick has put in his very useful thread.
just wondering, I have got heat strips instead of a heat mat, will this make any difference? I will be using the large flat exo terra faun, and the strips are 11" x 7" and 7.25W
will this be ok? or do I need to get a mat?
any help will be much appreciated, dont want to do anything wrong for the sake of the snake.
thanks

mats an strips are the same thing it just defines size, the size u said is generally a mat, strips are usually alot longer an narrow as they are used to heat multiple hatchling tubs in racks |

I agree, I thought that strips were longer for multiple vivs, fauns, etc.

I use heat strips which are 4ft long and I have multiple rubs on it.
I would call that a heatmat and yeah it will be fine :) |
