It's up to you. Personally I feed in a seperate container for two reasons: 1) So my snakes don't ingest any substrate that could lead to impaction and 2) so they don't become viv defensive.

I feed all mine in their vivs/tubs. None are viv defensive at all. I don't put anything down for them to feed off either and have never had a problem with substrate ingestion.

Its certainly down to personal choice. I feed all of mine in a seperate tub because i personally find it easier. It means whilst their eating the din dins i can have a quick clean around their tanks, its also easier to get pics then.

I would just do whatever is easiest for you.

As said, it's personal choice.

I feed mine in different tubs only because I weigh them first in small tubs then feed them.

I also enjoy watching them feed and getting pics :)

I feed in separate tubs. For 5 very good reasons,

No chance of ingesting substrate

Have a little clean of the viv, de fingerprint the glass etc.

Avoid the small chance of viv aggression.

Weighing the snake before each feed to monitor growth.

MOST IMPORTANTLY So I can sit and watch them eat, its just so amazing.
