My cool end temps and ambient temps are hovering around 18-19 c during the day (i assume they drop slightly lower during the night) is this to low? Will it cause problems?

mine is the same... he seems to really enjoy it though as has he spends most of his time at the cool end, and only really sit's in the warm end when digesting his food.

Mine is the same. In fact last feb it got as low as 14c in the night. People suggested putting a mat in cold end set to 20c but I really don't see the need. Mine have all been fine with cooler cool ends and eat/drink/explore just the same.

Even though its that cold, it will graduate between the two ends, so the snake will only go that far if it wants to, or sees the need to.
If the snake isnt happy with that then quite simply, he wont go that far into the cool end.
Ideally you want to be watching for about 50/50 time spent either end, if you have that, then its pretty much perfectly set up for temps.
