i have just bought some fir 'reptibark' made by Zoomed for my corn snakes vivarium.

I was informed by the guy at the reptile shop it would be fine to use but have since read on line that it can cause respiratory problems in corn snakes.

Is this true??? Does anyone else use this bedding for their corn snakes home??

Thanks
Mikey

Reptibark will be ok if you dry it out first. If you use it straight from the bag then it may well cause too much humidity and RI.
Edit to say don't use pine bark for snakes.

In the oven but keep an eye on it to make sure it won't catch fire! It's easier in the summer because the sun will do the job.
