We have had Silva for 4 weeks now and when we got him was told the poo is a black pellet with bit of white.
We have found it to be mainly white with a little bit of black but todays and the last were black and slightly gooey/ sticky.
So on to my question, is this normal and a few points are;
1/ substrate has been changed from the dry wood chippings to aspen. 2/ had 2 pinkies for first time on sunday. 3/ pretty sure it was really fresh
Thanks in advance, Rick. |

Hi Mate,
It all come out gooey/sticky but then dry's almost chalky. Sounds normal to me. The white is a solid form of urine.

Yeah, sounds normal.
It depends like you said on how fresh it is lol I find that Nimbus's poop dries up to almost nothing but when it's fresh there's loads of it! |

Cheers, didn't think it was anything to worry about but better safe than sorry.
Didn't realise the white was dried urine, learn something every day on here ;)
Thanks. |
