Fed him this evening one one Medium mouse. He struggled! Actually he seemed to struggle a lot I felt the need to intervene as there was a leg stuck! ( I defrosted it for 3 hours and then put him in hot water for 10 minutes to warm). It took him just over 10 minutes to get down ....
He was on large mice... seeing him take a medium mouse I wonder how on earth he woult take a large one down so im thinking he was recently moved up to them,,, either couldnt take them or regurged due them being too big. This medium has left a nice lump in him!!
Very happy now as he pooh's fine he handles fine and seeing him feed tonight I have concluded the mice were too big and either not eaten or regurged for that reason and that reason only :). |

Go Gollum. Glad your slowly figuring out why he was in the state he was in, I think I fed too large once and ended up with a regurge so quite likely its that or he just never attempted it. Either way he's on medium mice, doing great, happy house. Lucky little snake. |
