http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/3350883/I-found-a-four-inch-gecko-in-Tescos-broccoli-bag.html

Amazing that the poor thing survived the ordeal.

I had to have a chuckle tho. I had to return a mouldy cake to tesco over christmas. Last week I received a letter from tesco head office with apologies and a gift card. Seems like you get £20 for a mouldy cake but only £10 for a gecko in your salad.

Baby mice in crisps??? still, if you get a good litter then its cheaper than buying them from the pet shop!! bit of a bargain if you ask me!
if thats the Gecko i am thinking of, then damn they are fast, little to no chance of handling, they practically teleport!

Live too :p http://www.discountvouchers.co.uk/news/99973535.html

But ew mould cake! I hate Tesco's food, it all tastes horrid! Maybe you can use your gift card to buy some food in the store and see what animal pops lol, as Mike said cheaper than the petshop :D

There has also been a baby king in one supermarket flowers I unno which one it was but that would have been a lucky find XD

My mum works in retail, as a produce manager, bananas tend to have to be checked because it has recently been fairly common for spiders to be found in them, so it has become part of the mad health and safety for her store, but its really so disgusting to think that so many things can make their way into our food, thing about what other things could be in there. :(

I wouldn't mind finding something for free too XD
A lot of spiders used to get found in grapes too if I'm not mistaken.
Also this line made me laugh.
A spokesman said: "We are investigating."

I found a tiny frog in a fruit and veg box when I worked in a supermarket while at Uni.

I wasn't into amphibians then though, otherwise it could have been a good find.
