Well Rhubarb and Custard have been here a week now and it's flown by, there has been a couple of hurdles that I have had deal with like me being extremely nervous where all snakes are concerned but these 2 have given me so much confidence I just can't believe it, also there was the big problem that when I offered to take them on they were both in the one viv which is obviously a big no no so I knew I would have to re-home one of them but as the week has gone on I realised that I couldn't bear to let either of them go and a friend is just in the process of ordering a new larger viv for her corn and has gifted me her 4 foot viv so I'm now one very happy bunny as they will both be staying, unfortunately it won't be for another couple of weeks so I just hope they continue to behave until then. I started handling them yesterday and they were both very gentle with me and both have had their first feed and it went perfectly. My only regret is that I didn't have the courage to have one years ago. |

If they have been content living together why change things. My 2 female adult corns have been together in same viv and they are approx 8-9 yrs old |

There are some photos already on of them both together but I have taken some more tonight so I will put a few on but they are of Rhubarb apart from just one of Custard.
They do seem very happy living together but the problem is that I was told Rhubarb is male and Custard is female and I really don't want them to breed a I am a total novice, I am taking them both to be sexed next Saturday so at least then I will know for sure. |
