Sorry this is a very boring post for most of you but I was so happy this morning.
Lazy boy Nimbus did his first propper strike and then a sort of mini constrict!
I expected his normal lazy sniff of the food then a slow swallowing movement but no, I held the tongs just above his head, food dangling and he was so fast I nearly pooped myself
He must have been hungry!
I didn't even have the camera ready but will try and film it next week. |

Very strange but I got a first strike out of Spot today too and the mother of all constricts to go with it, quick as a flash too. I didn't have my camera anywhere near either. I thought maybe Spot knew that his new neighbour is a python and didn't want to be showed up but maybe its just the time of year for lazy snakes to get striking. |

lol you know I wondered the same thing about Nimbus! Maybe he knows he has a few new pals comming this week and decided to buck his ideas up and start acting like a snake not a sloth! |
