hi, i have only had my 6yr old corn snake since sunday and although i held him in the shop i have no idea which is the best way to pick him up now i have him home. which is the best way?

well the first thing is to leave the snake alone for a week to let him/she to settle in and reduce the stress of a new place and traveling. do that first :)

just support his body while you handle him. just go in slowlyish, confident+pick him up by the midle 1/3 of his body, then bring him out! if you held him in the shop you know he prob wont bite, so be calm+get him out just for a few mins!!

ok i will leave him settle in for a week. i didnt realise that i had to do that. but i will remember how to handle him. he was lovely to handle in the shop and i am not scared he will bite me, i am more scared i will hurt him
