Just wondered how bad snake poo really is

It's the only bit I'm not loking forward too lol

How often do they poop? For those of you with other pets is it worse smelling than dog or cat poop? lol

I'm not too bad with animal poop and had to clear up the worst ever dog mess when my Cody was ill in his crate so it's not really a big issue, I'm just curious.

I even looked at videos on youtube of snakes poop and that was a big mistake!!!

Random thread I know

It's not as bad as bearded dragons! To be honest I don't have too much of a problem. It's not something that Prada or Gucci will be marketing. Thank goodness snakes only eat about once a week!

I don't have a problem with it but then my snake is still quite small. I gross my girlfriend out by picking it up from the viv with my hands!

When my little hognose (only 20 cm long) poopes, I can smell it right away in all my room... like green fumes coming from his viv really disgusting!

My corn snake isn't half that bad... it smells, but not unreasonable

My hognose often poops only 24 hours after he's fed... sometimes 48 hours... He's digesting really fast and well.

The corn snake takes a bit longer.. normally 48 to 72 hours...

I can't tell if they have pooped until I look into the viv, my husband reckons he can smell it as soon as he comes out of the bedroom in the morning. I don't think it smells that bad unless its just been deposited then its a bit wiffy.

i thought my rats were smelly when they poop but think the snakes are much worse
my son doesnt like it as his snake sonic always poops on him, its almost like he does it on purpose, once my son was away with his nan and grandad for 2 weeks and i had handled him everyday apart from feeding times and when my son held him when he got baxk he pooped on him straight away!
