Hi

I have decided to brumate my corns this year in preparation for breeding in the spring. My house is well heated and I am trying to find a place to house them during the winter period.

I am thinking about putting them in the loft, so over the last couple of weeks I have been monitoring max / min temps up there. They are fluctuating between 7 and 13 degrees.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this who have brumated in this way?

Thanks
Simon

i think your ment to brumate at 8 - 12 degres it's quite precise but i havent brumated my corns im just going to leave it
coz u don't HAVE to brumate them but it does increase clutch size and fertilty :)

dont drop your temps that low, you want to be between 10 and 15, 10 being the absolute lowest.
You need to drop the temps gradually, over a few weeks, making sure that the last meal has passed through the snake, otherwise it will rot in their gut.
