a faecal sample doesn't have to involve a trip to the vets........

and mike, the example you gave of 2 x 10g mice compared to 1 x 20g rat is selective information to suit the purpose of your post.

and if that's your attitude mike i politely suggest you take a break from the forums till you come back in a better mood. that's what i have to do from time to time.

of course its selective, comparing a pinkie mouse to an adult rat wouldnt be helpful!!
Weight for weight, percentage for percentage, rats have less fat and more protein than mice.
i even gave you the link for the study report, its all there in black and white.

I have the attitude that if someone says something wrong, i will correct them, if they say something stupid i say so, no one else does.
There is a lot of bad information being given out on here recently, be it bad habits or just complete rubbish information, i know you know that.

My reply and quotes WERE relevant to the thread, as i said, bad advice was given, twice, so i corrected it, with proof.

You can edit me as much as you like, i am still right, and its STILL on topic, and until i am banned, i will argue my point, because i am right, you are wrong.

Incidentally, out of interest, and of course of interest to the OP for when she gets a sample done, how do you plan to get a full spectrum faecal analysis without going to the vets??
vet labs dont do private work for the public.

mike, numerous things.........
* bad advice has not been given, relevant opinions have put forward including differing ones
* you do not have proof, you have manipulated figures
* you are way off topic and there's a new thread specifically for this debate
* some labs will do work on samples from individuals though not the majority of labs
* and your 'i'm right and you're wrong' attitude appears to have got you a 50% warning

as nothing else has been forthcoming in helping the OP i'm locking this thread. sincere apologies to the OP for this debarcle, please feel free to start a new thread if you require further advice
