We got our first corn back in febuary a 5ft adult who is daft as a brush! So we are bitten by the bug, and have now just took on 2 baby corns. The anery (popped as male when we got him) was hatched on 13 aug but didn't shed or feed till the 17 sept. He now feeds every week on 1 pinky. The second baby is an amel, was hatched on the 14 aug shed on the 22nd aug and has eaten every week since on 1 pinky and also shed again on 9th october. the snakes are from different breeders. Just wondering if its any thing to worry about with them being so different when it comes to shedding? The amel (Frank) does appear to be alot bigger and stronger than the anery (Keith)though both snakes are active in the evenings and are happy to be handled both are pooping ok. Looking for some reassurance really as still new to all this and I do worry about the babies. |

Try not to worry. Snakes are individuals, just like all living creatures, and grow at different rates. If you're concerned you could feed Keith once every five days for a while just to give him a bit of a boost! |
