I had my baby corn snake now about 3week a go. The night i pick her up was the last time she ate. she shed her skin on wednesday and has still not eaten yet. I have been putting the baby pinkies in for her before i go to bed and they are still there the next monring. i have seen her look at the pinkies but she just looks away. she is in a small tub until she gets bigger. she is in a tank with a older male around 4 months old in seperate tubs. Any help would be nice for me as i dont want her to die on me.
Thanks
Karl

I'll ask the questions that the others will ask, so you can answer them and get them out of the way =]

What's the tank set up like exactly? You say you've got her in a tank but in a seperate tub than the male?
How have you set up their heating?
What are the hot and cold temperatures?
Is she in a quiet area of the house?

Also something to note, snakes can go for quite some time before perishing. Hatchlings have been known to go for months before having their first feed at all, so try not to panic too early. Just keep your eyes peeled, and follow the advice on here =]

Sorry I can't actually help! But good luck nonetheless.

Our anery baby didn't eat for a month. He hatched, waited a month before his first shed and only then did he decide to eat. I know it can be worrying but assuming that the temps are ok and the baby has plenty of places to hide and is housed in a seperate tub (on her own) she should settle and eat. try not to handle her for a week and then offer her a defrosted pinky that has been warmed over a bowl of warm water. I place the pinky in a bowl then I get another bowl with warm water in and place the bowl with the pinky in over the top so that the pinky warms but stays dry. Hope this is of help. By the way our adult corn didn't eat for nealy 3 months in the spring.
