Does any one use flexwatt in the UK?
I know it's 110 Volt but if it was connected through a dimming thermostat it should work OK.
Any thoughts??

LOL the connections are as safe as you make them.
The stuff now apparently has attained a CE mark so is legal in all of Europe.
Hubbys an electrical engineer I was wondering if any one had used the stuff and what they thought??

dont even know if a 240v dimmer would run a 110v mat?or do you have a 110v dimmer, iknow what your saying,it was the self assembly bit that made it not available over her, very popular in the usa, basicly just a mat.

Yeah, we used it in the states, but it was already precut and "assembled" so to speak for us. But to be honest, I haven't seen or even heard of it until now over here.

Probably be using a 110/240 step down to bring the voltage into line, but I'm really looking for an opinion on it's performance and usability in a rack??
