Hey guys! Been a while since I been around, but finally, Ripley is to be miiiine! I move back to Worcester on Saturday, and Rippers is to come with! Woop!! I had a bit of a problem IDing his morph and the likes a little while back, but I'm back with some fresh images of him, and I hope you guys may be able to help me out once more! Here are the best images I could get of him. He's still so incredibly friendly, and just loves to slither about, so, yeah x.x Any ideas on what type he is I would be really grateful, so that I can at last show him off as the right type!! YAY!

Ripley is now about 9-10months old, and measured in at his last shed at 24 inches!
Its not that clear on this photo, but he has a FANTASTIC little head pattern, which I've not really seen on many images I've look at!
He has very distinct belly checkers which are black with grey speckles in the middle.
He has grey eyes, when he lets you look!
I do apologise for the state of these photos! All of today I've been trying to find batteries that work to use the proper camera, but they just wouldn't have it, and so I had to use my mum's phone, which preferred whatever was in the background to Ripley! I'll hopefully be able to get some really good photos when I return home to Worcester, so if these photos aren't good enough to show him up, I will take some more then, and y'all can let me know what you think!
Since I've been home, he has altered his colour a lot, from a pale grey/lilac base colour with really rich brown saddles to this pale head with light yellowing on the side saddles with the more rich blueish base colour further down, with darker saddles with very thin, somewhat blotchy black outlines.
What do y'all think? |

Ooooh! That was one of the suggestions we had when he was smaller, but I've also had the suggestion of Ghost too, due to the yellowing on his neck ^^ So, really, either way, he is some sort of anery, its just unknown what exact type XDD Thanks for the help! He is a fantastic little fella, I do love him sooooooo ^^ |

Thanks guys ^^ I guess I'll need to keep this thread updated with how he alters as he develops, to see if we get any closer to what he is. My brother was told, when Ripley was bought, that he was an anery, but even the shop wasn't 100%, and I guess they just went with what was most likely looking at him. Looking through the Ian's Vivarium page, he doesn't particularly look like the anery or the ghost sections, so I guess the suggestion of Anery/Ghost + Lavender could clear that up ^^
Thanks again you guys!! |

Aww, bless! He is very like him! A little lighter in the saddles, but I guess that is cos he is older? Then again, for both, it could just be the lighting of the photos ^^ Anery it is then! Do you have any photos of this snake now? I'd quite like an idea of how he's going to alter as he grows ^^ Its really fascinating how different they can look as hatchlings as to when they are full grown! |
