Ok so today there was a shield bug on me so I screamed like a little girl and danced around. A friend of mine decided to squish it so it died. I thought it would be interesting to see if I could freeze its body with a can of antiperspirant cos its so cold. So I got a play doh pot (cos I'm so mature) and dropped in aforementioned dead bug and then filled up the tub and stuck the lid on. When I got home I decided to see if it was frozen and opened the lid. Thinking all the spray had dispersed I decided to try and defrost it with a lighter. My hand caught fire, the pot caught fire, my shirt caught fire and my be caught fire. Luckily deodorant can be patted out as it doesn't burn hot or for very long and doesn't actually burn things around it. But possibly still the stupidest thing I've ever done. Thought id share it before my heart stops racing

Ohhh dear - was it a case of stuff duvet cover in washing machine fast and, 'What scorch mark? Tumble drier must have overheated ...'

(I was once washing up and my rubber glove tickled. The next thing was, a huge spider came marching out, up my arm, very annoyed. 'Having a nice kip in there,' he said. I apologised.)

Yeah, I'm lucky, I'm not spider-phobic. It is a bit of a shock if a creepy-crawly suddenly appears on you though. At least he warned me first.

Nah the great thing about deodorant is it burns away real quick. So if you put it on your hand an light it, it wont hurt, cos it just burns up the propellant in the air

I only ever set fire to deodorant once at home... after setting fire to the carpet briefly I never did it again!

When plastic bottles first came in - about a zillion years ago, my mother bought one, filled with lemon squash, and dropped it on the floor to demonstrate how it couldn't break ...

Burst! ... Floooooooood ....

We were innocent in them days ....
