i've been a very strict veggie for over 20 years BUT just because that's what i believe in doesn't mean i force my beliefs on anyone else, human or animal.
So with that in mind my daughter and OH eat meat, as do my cats and dogs, and the snakes have mice, rats or rabbits |

LOL. I once knew a vegetarian - the very earnest sort, and took her seriously until one day she boasted about her new leather shoes ...
You could always tell your sister Doyle has mice krispies, mice cream, lemming meringue pie, micicles... the amusing mouse wine ... |

Hah, the king of the weird video clip! Hi, again!
Oh boy, I may be an ageing hippy myself but I've met some of those types - like the one I mentioned who preached against meat and then bought leather shoes ...What a pain - and poor old lion.
But, and I don't want to sound like a knowall, and if you don't have cats, you won't know this - cats can't survive without first class protein ie meat, but dogs are more omnivores than carnivores, and can actually stay healthy without meat. Show me the dog who'd refuse a steak, though!
I used to have 2 Jack Russell terriers, and one evening on the way back from the pub I picked up a fresh roadkill rabbit and took it home for them ... feeding frenzy! (I won't go into details ... )
EDIT - ah, sorry I see you do have a cat! Sorry! Just didn't want to sound like knowall - just one of those bits of info one picks up ... |

hahahah my jack russel is like that, when ever the cat brings in a mouse its on it....
my GCSE music teacher campaigned against nuclear bombs in the 70's and if you meet her you couldtell she was a hippy back in the day |

LOL - you can't keep a good hippy down!
(Even if some of us do eat meat ...)
The bit about your JR made me laugh ... reminded me of when I had hens. A mouse drowned in their water bowl and the minute I pulled it out, one snatched it and went running round with the rest following and trying to grab the mouse off it. I didn't look ... |
