Depends if you know what you are looking for, a 125 stroke scooter that's been big bored is gonna be obvious, on the road, a 4 stroke is gonna be so expensive you won't do it anyway, valves, hi lift cams, stroker kit, full exhaust, bigger carb or injectors, gonna set you back about 3k to have all that done properly.
Doing a 2 stroke, anyone who knows 2 strokes will know if its been done, they sound different, plus on top of that, you gotta change the carb, reed valves, either power valve and setup, full rebore kit, exhaust, its expensive.
Not only that, you go past a copper on a 50 at 60mph then he's gonna know straight away, go past on a125 at 90, then he's gonna know. If the bike accelerates too quick for what it is then he's gonna know. |
