went to the reptile shopp earlier nd omg!! i fell in lovee wiv this snow corn nd almost every Boa i saw!!!....
....but my mum is being a typical mum nd said that i am onlyy allowed to have Tangoo :( so unfairr!! andd she even said she wish i didnt have Tangoo nd she wants to get rid of him!! :O!! dont think that shal be happeningg any time soon ;) hahaaa :P xxx

im not sure your mum would appreciate you referring to her like that on a public forum - loads of people arent even allowed one pet so be grateful that she let you have Tangoo 
maybe save up and then when you move out you can then get another one? |

You really are delightful arent you. you live under her roof and shes being insulted because she doesnt want more snakes under HER roof.
Perhaps you should learn to respect the fact that its not your house, and sometimes, life is tough.

I know you are messing about but not everyone will do.. the problem with being on a forum is only being able to read what people say - therefore what you do type can be read in so many different ways..
I know mum's can be a pain at times but whilst you live with her you do have to abide by her rules! |

| I know what you mean but parents are generally right. I mean, do you want to go to uni when your older? If so I think your mum is right as it wouldn't be right for her to look after a load of your pets while your away. She may even ask you to sell Tangoo if you do go to uni. |

I think whether Meggy is going to go to uni or not is a bit off topic for now lol.
Like others have said, people can misunderstand what's typed on a forum like this, it's easy enough to do. Sarcasm and jokes don't always come across so well in a written format. Your mum's been generous enough to let you have a snake now, even though she's open about not wanting it in the house, so you have to give her a little credit that she gave you that much =] When you've moved out you can start to think about expanding your collection, that's something to look forward to when the time comes eh? |

It will be, it's hard to not try and push your luck, but your mum's obviously not ready for there to be more animals in the house so just enjoy Tangoo as I'm sure he'll enjoy having your attention lol.

If you think that this is spelling correctly then you need to go back a few years in school, its dire at best.
She offended you because she didnt want a snake under her roof, buy your own house then, irrelevant whos name the house is in, the bottom line is its not in your name.
You didnt offend me, i have no reason to be offended, i just dont understand how you can have so little respect for your mother to slate her on a public forum, no matter how much of a joke it was.
If i was you, i would assume that everything you write will be taken seriously, that way no one is miss led. |

I dont think mike is trying to judge you, and yes, i agree that you didnt really slate her so to speak.....i know parents/partners etc can annoy even the best of us at times and i understand you were probably just venting your opinion in a sarcastic kind of way.
Just remember that when people read your posts they dont know if you are laffing (sorry mike, spelling ha ha)or scowling. I find it useful to put a lol or a ha ha after if i intend it as a joke, just to show i'm laffing.....seem too many arguments on forums over things like this, it happens all the time.
And your spelling is probably good, but its you youngsters text talk that annoys people......(just remember a lot of these oldies on here probably struggle to send a text *disclaimer-this comment is not aimed at anyone in specific, just the old people...ha ha*) Just try to remove as many of the :S and *** /// as possible before hitting send. |
