LOL - know how you feel - now you'll be saying stuff like 'who's a pretty boy - er, I mean girl'!
Not so long ago I took my yearling corns to be probed. I was pretty sure Spider (anery) was a girl, and as for Spooky (ghost) she arrived, sashayed up her climbing branch, and said, 'My name is Salome Spooks. I am a girl.' As for Buffy, the Carolina, there was no doubt in my mind - boy. Big, greedy, brash, and every time he went he stunk the viv out. HAD to be male (sorry you guys!)
Well. Probing day. Spider - girl. Spooky - girl.
Buffy - GIRL!!!????
Even now I keep referring to Buff as 'him' ... I suppose it will take time ... |

I haven't had any of mine probed yet. I was considering taking them back to the shop as he says he can do it, but i think he's a bit incompetant so i may just leave them. Im sure i'll find out at some point.
Its not as if im co-habbiting them or planning to breed at any point in the near future so i figured i don't necesarily need to know yet.
As for not being able to probe or pop a 4 week old hatchie, im pretty sure they could be popped, although you will have to wait for someone more experienced to confirm. |
