Morning Mike. If it's any consolation I was awake at that time too. The puppy needed toileting and I had to take my nephew to work for 7am. I went to tesco too to save me an extra trip later. Perfect training time for the puppy with few people in the shop.

I confess I'm a later starter too, but during the course of my life I remember having to be up at unearthly hours for kittens, puppies with built in alarm clocks, cleaning jobs, walking to the allotment to let out the hens at first light ... Once I stayed up for two nights waiting for one of my Siamese to come into labour. I got so that I thought nothing of decorating etc in the early hours. Even now I get up at four and wander round, checking on the beasties and the doorlocks. But then, I'm afraid, I go back to bed.

I can remember what it was like though - my sympathies to everyone who's got to make an early start.

I can't lie-in even when I get chance. Stupid built in body-clock. It took me years to train my youngest that there wasn't 2 5'o'clocks in a day. I'v just about got him to 6.30 on a good morning now and he still insists on waking me up when he gets up.

Here you go lee, here's the Violin:

I don't suppose that me telling you I didn't wake up until 3.30pm will make you feel any better either.

LOL What are you ON? Tell me!

(My only hope is making hop pillows - grown my own and they are strangling the dahlias. But apparently hop pillows are really good snooze ...)
