He said YES I can have a snake. Yippee Yippee Yippee.

*faints**gets up**then faints again* (only kidding btw)

OMG I don't believe it, its only taken a few days of asking for a snake 24 hours a day to bring him to his knees and give in lol.

Ok Ok I'm fibbing, I've just asked him as many times a day as I could, and then tonight (19 August) he just turned to me and said "Okay you can get a snake as long as when I want something you won't give me 20 questions about it". So I said "Okay as long as what you want isn't expensive or pointless".

I'm chuffed to "ole mint balls" that hes said yes. I've now got to get a few bits such as a thermostat, heat mat (I'm buying Tango either a new 11"x11" or 17"x11" heat mat, so his 6"x11" one can be used again for the new snake), digital thermometers, an Exo Terra Faunarium and once that's all been bought, I need to get the Cornsnake morph I want, which will be either Bloodred (my fave), Lavender or any of the bright colours Striped.

If any of you know anyone who breeds Bloodred in the Manchester area or just outside, and has any eggs or hatchlings atm, could you let me know? Thanks a lot.

Take care everyone.

Best wishes

Catherine xx

When you say local guy Sully do you mean a shop or breeder?

If they are a breeder, their details would be great thank you.

Best wishes

Thanks GP. Unfortunately I won't be going to Donny cos my hubbie is working that weekend, so it will have to be us going to breeders.

I've had a look at eeji's website and there doesn't appear to be any Bloodred hatchling atm, but I'll ask him later if he has any cooking.

I can't get a hatchling yet anyway as I need a thermostat, heat mat and a few other bits.

Not only that I've got a new blazer to buy when my son goes back to school, thats £45, honestly schools think we are made of money, could do with winning the lottery.

So I'll be buying the smaller things when I've got cash in the bank over the next few weeks and also see whats in the classifieds too and see if I can persuade my mum to get me the thermostat for my birthday.

I have just got no patience though, I want it now lol, I'll just have to handle Tango for now.

Right I'm going to see if I can get 40 winks cos I didn't sleep very well last might, so I'll catch you later.

Best wishes

Great news that you can have the snake. You made a better job of persuading than I did.....I had to wait til I was over 50 before my hubby 'gave in' although it did give me lots of creeping time....nudge,nudge, wink, wink!!!

Sweeeeeet! Well done for thinking quickly enough to put in your very sensible proviso too - maybe he thought you'd be so delighted you wouldn't notice him asking for a 56" 3D HD TV installed in his new Ferrari!
