From recollection it was found mid-cycle, I shall try to find the thread.

Thanks, but sorry, I can't ...
Been my own veterinary nurse for decades and coped with some gruesome stuff in the days when a lot of animal nursing was left up to the owner, but can't read about a snake in a washing machine ... what a wuss ... |

Its best not to mention the rabbits, dave the male, is a little sod, he found out how to open the girlies cage, hence so many! Did you also know that rabbits can double clutch?? No? We didn't either! One baby bunny had wonky teeth, couldn't be sold as a pet, and was big, she is still a bit of a lump in the surinam!! The rats, cats, rabbits and lizards are kates, I have the snakes and the mice, sadly for the mice, they are bottom of the food chain in the flat!! |

Oh I love it! Dave the randy rabbit!
I too used to breed rabbits, but for food, but it was Gorgeous George the beast of Bodmin (cat) who used to open the cage doors when there were baby rabbits. Never mind the lump in the Surinam - I'm afraid a few of my infant rabbits ended up as a lump in George ... well, not a lump; he was built like a brick whatsit. When I fixed the rabbit cage doors he used to go off into the fields behind the house and hunt his own ...
You have to respect their instincts even if they shock our modern day sensibilities.
Animals, eh?
ps (edit) I still prefer them to people! |

Dave is loose in the back yard, away at night mind, he is always pestering the female! He's a bit of a stud! As for the cats, scooby is terrified of him and legs it, cooper will fight him! Dave is easily twice the weight of cooper, and prob not far off scoobies! Infact, dave charged scooby the other day, whilst he wasn't looking, and completely took him off his feet!! |

Are you sure he's a rabbit and not a rottweiler? Mind you, I expect he's only doing what comes naturally to rabbits. Maybe a good idea to get him a couple (hundred) more wives to keep him, er ... occupied. You could easily make a million bucks that way!

Lol, he's a funny one, as you know rabbits, you know when they have a succesful mate they fall off? Well dave had a job as a stud a few weeks ago, his cage is a 2 level thing, except he destroyed his ramp, so he has a gap that he jumps, effortlessly and occasionally silently too! Well he had the girl up the top, did his business and promptly fell down the gap! Was very amusing to watch!! Kate is toying with getting him another girlie, she's found another blue that looks almost exactly like him!! He's supposed to be a dwarf, a mini rex, however, he maxes out the 3kg scales no problem! |

LOL - I remember that! They get on top of the female and groan and go OMG! and fall off ...
I meant to add, if you get him more wives and make a million bucks, that also means a hell of a lot of doe ... |

It's not bad or gruesome, the snake in question is still happy and live and kicking. Think she was coined a ninja snake soon afterwards as well for another of her escapades. |

Um I'm stupid, I know their is a difference between venomous and poisnoius but I'm not sure what the difference is
The newspaper always hype up stuff, if they didn't hype it up it wouldn't sell. Because of this sadly, no-one will ever know the true story. There have seen severak cases where it was hyped up so much that it the writers have had a good slap on the wrist although, these were non snake related.
I can rember that woman who found a corn under a bin or something and the newpspare had hyped it all up and then took a stupid picture of her even stupier face looking in the bin |

I think a poison has to be ingested, whereas venom is injected.
So like Kehhlyr said before if you have somebody who has been bitten by a venemous snake they have been envenomated, if somebody then tries to suck the venom out of the wound they could be poisoned.
Is that correct, or am i completely wrong? |

Hrrm this is what I am confused about Danny. But you get poison darts or are these darts and you can get blood poison and ink poisoning but none of those terms it doesn't have to be ingested or even make its way through broken skin. Good old google does seem to suggest what you said Danny but I wonder why the terms only apply to animals and not objects. |

Poison dart frogs are so named because the local tribes use their poison to tip their blowdarts not cos they shoot poison as my little cousin believes |

A good few years back I was walking with my ex (lovely guy, still friends, but he's a townee) in some woods, and the grass was covered with that white frothy stuff caused by that tiny froghopper insect. I said, 'Oh, look at all the cuckoo spit.'
And ex went, 'Whaaaat? A CUCKOO did THAT????? Dirty bird!!!!'
Bless him!
It's funny the words and phrases that can get taken literally! |

Maybe venom is only naturally produced by animals or maybe to be envenomated rather than poisoned it has to come from an animal which naturally creates and secretes the venom.
I'll have a look on google in a minute and see if i can get any answers |
