My new Vivexotic vivarium's have arrived, surprisingly easy to put together! I need to seal with silicone tomorrow when I'm not so tired and obviously decorate with the plants and backing pictures, does anyone know the best way to stick the backing up? I accidentally on purpose ordered two as I'm hoping to get a Snow Corn next month and call him Fanta! I think they'll look smart when all kitted out and when the feet eventually arrive

Very smart looking They really will look lovely when they are all... homely
For the backing you could try sticking some sealant or something on the back and just sticking it on, or staple it on |

Coming along nicely, forgot to take the pics before putting him in though and don't want to disturb while he settles in so just a few piccies for now! I need to tidy the cabling up but I'll do that all together when the top viv is set up!

They're "Lucky Reptile" stats, wasn't sure about changing from Habistat ones but I had another thermometer and a back up stat to start with and had no problems for a year so decided to stick with them! |

yes, they have thermostat and thermometer, you can also set a timer that has a independent socket for night time temp changes but as I don't use that it comes in handy for putting his blue LED moon light on for a couple of hours each night |

Really lovely looking viv, great set-up and I also love the digital stats, they're really smart.
I ordered these off of ebay to save on smudgy finger-prints: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Vivarium-sliding-glass-FINGER-PULL-door-handle-CLEAR-/220644343602?pt=UK_Pet_Supplies_Reptiles_Spiders_Insects
Also I put a small bit of thick cardboard in between the doors to stop snakie rubbing against the doors and sliding them open enough to escape (and it also stop the doors rattling as they're not snug on their runners!) |

Great vivs.I like them alot and the prices for these are excellent.I take it it's a 4ft? what are the other measurements of it? Do they come with feet or is that extra fee and can you get longer legs as i want the viv raised higher from the ground? It must be quite difficult to spot check for poo etc with the amount of objects you have in there? I bet a full clean would take some time aswell. These vivs are about £65 which i think is brilliant.I did notice though that you only have two vents for a 4ft? My long term aim is to buy three of these and stack them up.Any chance of a pic with the blue led lights on:-) |
