I have two females one normal and an albino, Last year i bred the normal to my albino male and as it was my 1st clutch i was chuffed to bits, This year i wanted to get some albino babies so i planned on breeding my albino female but she became gravid before mating and she laid more than 15 slugs over a 10 day period so i decided it wouldnt be fair to put her through it all again. Is there a reason for this? She last laid a good clutch 3 years ago and these slugs have come along for the past two years now. Advice please?

females can often lay slugs. I don't know why, but there will provbably be someone on here that does!
