i have a tv stand that measures: 51.5cm high x 77cm (at its widest point) x 48cm deep, i was wondering if i can use this for my own viv, the stand comes from argos and has 2 sections going up it, so the hight is halfed in each but same width and depth, it is a trapezium shape, i was thinking of cutting a whole in the sectioned bit, 2 make 1 open space (to see wot im talking about, go to the argos website and put in this item code: 610/8401 - i have the beech 1) can u take alook please and let me know, thanks |

yea thats the one, the corners will be easy, i will use large roof battens and cut them to the shape for the back corners and as for the front corners i will square the outer casing (the panels for the sides) off for the shelf in the middle so theres a gap fo the snakes to climb through but as for the top and bottom, i will fill them using a small amount of ply wood and use the top as extra vents by using meshing - the viv meshing or i could put in a hatch for one of the top corners so that the snake can cimb on top of it and build a kind of play structure on top of the stand for excerise.
whst do u think of that idea. |

i will dont worry, well kind of roof battens, i only said roof battens to give everyone an idea.
but there is another way of doing it tho, using steam to "bend/flex" the wood, the same way boat builders form the shape of there wooden boats |

and 1 more thing can u use hamster tubes for a climbing frame coming from the viv and going around the room and back to the viv, so that the snakes can have there exercise without being handled or is this a bad idea |
