When is it best to bath a snake and the reason for doing it?

Bathing is mainly used after a bad shed to help get the skin off. They're also used in the case of your snake being constipated or egg bound as the motion of them swimming helps them to poo and can help to lay the eggs.

Some will argue plain old exercise is a good enough reason, but you shouldn't really for that reason, only if your snakes overweight, which is easily preventable, and there are alternatives to bathing for exercise.

As Staple said, I've tried bathing my snakes one each, they hated it, biting and hissing, the works.

Mine don't mind it, Gobo seems to like it, but I've only ever done it for constipation/bad shed/ and the vet suggested for eggboundness
