Hiya,
i was wondering what you all do with the skin after your snakes shed?

Casper shed for the first time (with me) on sunday and so far ive kept it in an envelope but not sure what to do

was thinking scrapbooking it or laminating it but i have neither a scrapbook nor a laminator

I have a scrap book for each of mine. I used to keep Alice's in a plastic tub but lost track of which was his last one to compare sizes. I'm not sure what I will do when the scrap books get full tho. I can imagine there will be quite alot of sheds from yearling to 20 years old. Maybe just saving them every six months or year would be better.

I keep mine. Sprocketts I keep to see how she's growing, and Gobo's I keep so that when mates ask if I have a spare for costumes or whatever I've got some to hand. :D

The bairns shed's I'm keeping, I like to see how they grow....well...if most of them would eat that is.

Either that or he's selling them and pocketing the dosh!!

I keep the most recent one to see how much mine have grown after their next shed. I only keep one shed per snake at a time. The others I have binned. Mine haven't had a completely clean shed yet so I will probably keep my first full sheds from both of them.
I think it depends on how many you have, if you are someone who has like a whole room full of snakes then I would bin all of the sheds except the last one, but, if you only have 1 or 2 snakes it would be a nice idea to scrapbook the full sheds

i was going to keep the first one, but the tail broke off, so i am waiting for haribo to shed again, then put his shed in somewhere that it wont get broken so i have a memento of how small he was, the scrap book idea sounds good, would you glue the shed in the book, and if so, what glue would you use? do you reckon uhu glue would be okay?
