i got my royal today, will upload a few shots that i got before i put him in his cage, unfortunatly i wanted a female 2010 baby but hardly anybody had 2010 babies and the poeple that did didn't have any females at all. the person that i bought him off was very good apart from not having any records of him, no feeding, no shedding, aparently a very good feeder, on defrosted small mice. the price was menat to be 60 but since i am 15 and young the guy sed that he would do it for 50  he is a normal het pied and e sed he would maybe have some females in sept so will try and persuade dad on that one. i am so excited. and thank you piers/blackecho for the cork bark, it looks really nice in the tank, although i had to cut it down. i love him so much, and the 2 weeks of no handling will be so hard. will get pics up soon. i now have to think of names, my mum came up with the name 'bullet' which i think is nice but will see over the next month about names. i think that is all i have to say for now...

| thanks, it was so dificult, as i wanted a female my dad was like "y don't u just wait till sept and get a female then" but i wanted to get one now, me being impatient and all that, and the only reason i wanted a female was cuz all the reps i have are male, but i thought well it doesn't really matter what i get, so went for the male. i was so excited on the way, he kept rubbing against the plastic i just wanted to get him out and hold him but couldn't. i cannot wait for the two weeks to be over, luckily (not really) i have alot of exams this week so i will need to study every day so hopefully that will take my mind of him. i will upload pics soon and post them. |

if any of you keep royals can you help me with this one
on his belly, i don't know if u can see it, he has a line, like an old scratch or somethiong that has healed or something like that, my dad sed it might be his belly button thing, but im not sure. also with this pick aparetly you can tell he is het for pied as he has a white belly and some white marking snext to his belly |

the line aperently according to blackecho is the belly buttom, umbilocal cord thingy.
trevah, get a royal, i have had mine for hours now and i wish i had got one earlier.
hillzi, i don't know the last time he shed, y, does he look dark or something, i think he is juts normal in the pics, like he shed 2 weeks ago and will shed 2 weeks later if u now what i mean, he wont lituraly shed in 2 weeks but...
i am loving him and these 2 weeks are going to be the hardest time of my life. |

| he is about 12 inches long, so cute and loves to be handled and out and about, although i did only have him out for 5 mins before i put him in his cage so... u should get 1 |

Yeah I think he does look like that petrol tinge about himin the 2nd pic, theoretically young snakes do shed monthly, but you had no records of him? |

no, unfortunatly the guy i bought him off sed he didn't bring any but i got his fone number so i plan to phone him tomorow to see if he has any more info, bit anoyed but i love him so...
the 2 week wiat is because i am feeding him every 7 days and they say to try and get 3 feeds down them before handling, but i now i cannot manage 3 weeks so i am feeding twice, then handling for like 5 mins a day, then after about 5 feeds will try and bring the handling up to 10 mins a day and then after i am comfertable with everything and he is eating furiously and constantly i will just handle him for however long until he gets bored or stressy. |

thanks, i maybe plan to get another het pied female though that i can maybe breed with in the future, form the same breeder if everything goes ok with him.
we are still trying to think of names, the only one we have come up with so far is bullet but are still thinking |

if he is then wow, that would mean that his colours are dull, that would then mean that his colours would get brighter |

| looks like he's in shed too me aswell but it could just be the light, my corn has that line in the third pic i think it's from them shedding but that'd be a total guess. |
