Ventured in for the first time today and had a quick chat with Lou.

Hope to say hello to one or two more of you soon. But sadly time to do some work now so that will have to wait awhile...

I got half an hour spare so thought I would pop my head in. Alas, my ipad doesn't work with flash. Damn Apple! I could log in remotely through my home PC - which is so cool to be able to do! - but by the time I do that it'll probably be time to get back on the road! lol

Shall look more into the flash thing as well.
We've tested successfully so far apps for the Androids, Blackberry and java based phones as well.
They will be getting listed with connection info as well soon, I shall try to find someone with an ipad/iphone who will let me tinker to sort something out. I'm assuming the ipads and iphones use the same software???

I would imagine it's the same, yeah. Don't know why Apple have been so bullish about flash. I know they want to encourage their own version of it, but flash is in universal use already. There is a browser app that is flash capable, but it's very sluggish and poorly rated so I haven't bothered to try it.

The only way I can work with flash on the ipad is via a remote link to my home pc as I said, which is a bit of a pain. When it works it's fine, but sometimes my pc doesn't get picked up on the network for some reason.

I'm sure I'll manage to get in the chat room at some point soon though and say hello.

Kehhlyr I don't know if this is of any interest to you but I literally just found out about an iphone/ipad app called 'tapatalk forum app'. Very popular and highly rated apparently. It costs £1.79 from the app store. Not sure exactly what it does but thought you might be interested.

Edit: also another one called forum runner.

Doesn't help WNC but may be of interest to you for the forum.
