I personally prefer to use peoples usernames, purely because we have so many members on here that if in a thread someone says something like "Mark is right in what he said" then I end up hunting through the threads and clicking on peoples profiles to find out who Mark was.
We've got many members on here with duplicate names that I haven't bothered trying to keep up.
There are a couple members that I talk to on MSN as well, and I still use their TCS usernames on that as well. |

I am also a fellow Hannah =] You'll notice I always tend to end my post with Hannah xxx. Although on the odd occasions when the Mr is around I have to put Hannah & Gary else he gets rather lonesome. He only knows how to work eBay "just" so there will be no chance on him putting a post on here! Lol. That was rather mean of me!
But I don't mind I like Hannah or Hann? Also on the Montana front, it seems the inlaws like to call me that and also they call me Hanny which I bloody well hate!!! I seem to be getting away from the point as no one asked me for a life story!!! sooooooo.

I don't mind what I am called, most people only use 4 letters, and not the 4 you would expect! |

Sorry guys, seem to have started a controversial thread while I havent been around very much .
I do use real names, but 99% of the time that is only to the OP (original poster)....everyone else is refered to by their forum names to avoid confusion. I like to make it more personal to the OP by using their proper names....but maybe I am wrong to do that....I hadnt thought about the fact that some people may prefer it if only their forum names were used.
I am like Kehhlyr, I talk to some forum members on msn, Facebook and by text and still call them by their forum names  !
As for me....I am Judith, Jude or Ju - but never Judy. Dont have anything against anyone in particular called Judy except for a certain girl in my childhood who was a bully and therefore I dont like being called it myself....just a personal preference.
Kehhlyr is right though, using personal names within a thread does cause confusion as you then dont know who the person is referring to....which is why I only do it when I am responding directly to the OP.
So, sorry for creating the problem ....and please say if you want me to stop!!!
