Just a random post (hope ok)
Also hello all, sorry not posted in a while now :( work has been silly bad, but that takes me on to my lil story about max :)
his feeding day was yesterday, but I feel asleep in my chair while sorting things out for him (been doing silly hours at work over silly days.. so finally caught up with me)
so was anoyed at myself for forgeting him, as how would I like it if I forgot my tea :p
So I thought since im the same tonight, I would feed him different. Since I had no time and it takes me 20 or so min to persuade him to come out, I would use his spare water dish upside down and feed him inside his faun today a 1 time thing.
Thought it would not hurt him or do anything bad, maby even a bit different for him.
Anyhooo put the 1st pinky in, got the 2nd and noticed him watchin me from his hidyhole at the back, so I wiggled the pinky going "look max food, sory im late :p"
and he launched himself at it, caught me off guard and for some reason did not let go and a for a few seconds was playing tug of war with him... then I clicked... this is for him you numbty let go
I let go and he looked up at me and waggled his head and started to gobble it down.
heh I know not much of a story but I was well chuffed as normaly he will try to hide from me while eating (somtimes will show off like my photos last time) but today done a strike and was happily eating away :)
now he watchin the 2nd pinky.. I think he wants it to move again heh, but I had my shock for the day.... and dam they move fast.... |

hehe yea, think we both learned somthing from this :)
good thing my work clears up, so next feeding time will be back to normal as dont want him getting too used to the easy life of home delivered food and games of tug of war :D |

Sorry work has been so manic Paul, if you have been working silly hours it is not surprising you are so shattered that you are just falling asleep....
....but you doing that led to an amazing experience with Max ! It is always wonderful to hear stories like yours and I am not surprised you were shocked when he struck out, especially when he is normally so shy. I can just imagine your face as you wriggled that pinkie and he 'launched himself at it, caught me off guard and for some reason did not let go and a for a few seconds was playing tug of war with him... then I clicked... this is for him you numbty let go' - letting go sooner next time is definitely a good idea, you dont want to hurt his little teeth! I bet he was as surprised when you didnt let go as you were when he struck !
They definitely move fast and it is a good story to tell....just to remind us all not to take our corns for granted with their behaviour - they can always surprise us !
