That kingsnakes are immune to rattlesnake venom, because in the wild they eat them...

Just been watching Built for the kill and it was a reptile/amphibian special.

I knew!

But then Kings are my thing. That's one of the reasons they are called King Snakes, because they were thought to be 'the king' of the serpents because they ate scarier snakes.

Also their latin family name is Lampropeltis, which means 'shiny shield' in relation to there shiny scales
