found this when i was spot cleaning squidwards faun.kasey has only regurged once and it was a whole mouse, so from the looks of this, im guessing its a regurge.
i fed him two pinks on the saturday (not just gone) and found it about 4 days later. i've not fed him this week but thought id try again on saturday. is this long enough? was gunna move him on to fuzzies as he's not put on any weight since i got him but that idea is on hold for now. how long should i leave it after he's kept a meal down before offering fuzzies? |

I am NO expert Amanda, but have had Silvesta regurge on me once. It is strange that it was 4 days after you fed Squidward that he regurged....or could you have missed this and he have done it before? It does look like a regurge to me....but only because it doesnt look like poo.
You need to leave him 10 days to allow his digestive system to recover from the regurge before you try and feed him again. And I would definitely keep him on the 2 pinkies for a bit until you are sure he is keeping the food down. The fact that he is not putting on any weight really and that he has now regurged is a bit worrying and hopefully someone with more experience will be able to give you a better idea as to what is going on.
I know I asked you some of this in your other post about feeding....but is he pooing, drinking and handling ok? What are the temps in his faun? How are you measuring them? The more info you can give the more chance those with experience have of trying to work out what has happened.
This is a good sticky on regurgitation that is definitely worth a look at - http://www.thecornsnake.co.uk/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=7792
The main thing is not to rush him by feeding him too soon and by pushing up his prey size until you are sure about what is going on.
Sorry I cant be of more help.

il be honest it doesnt look like a regurge iv ever seen but then like Kellog said it doesnt look like any poop either.. like kellog also said give him 10 days but personally instead of giving him two try him with one - you dont want to overload his stomach, how long has he been loosing weight for? whats his age/weight? |

squidward is about 2ft (wasn't keen on the idea of being measured so its a rough measurement!), 10 months old and last time i weighed him he was 49g which he's been since i got him at the end of march. he could have done it sooner and i din't realise because i stayed at my boyfriends for two nights and found it when i came back. the pictures aren't that good coz i took them on my phone. he'd done a poo too and that looked normal, but the other thing was really smelley. haven't seen him drinking but he tends to only come out at night and he's upstairs at the mo coz i didnt want him and kasey in the same room till i was sure he's healthy.he's also a shy boy and doesnt do anything with an audience. temp at the cool end is 21 and the warm end is 30.his behaviour is normal for him while he's being handled, he's still a bit jumpy but has now totally stopped biting. i know he was on a poor diet of one pinky at the pet shop so i upped him to two about 3 weeks after i got him so i guess he could still be getting used to larger meals. its just stressful to think that as soon kasey is getting back on track feeding wise, squidward decides to cause trouble! |

just wondering, could he be a bit stressed from feeling to exposed? he's in a plastic faun at the mo and although he's got 3 hides in there two of them have big openings, the other is an exo-terra cave where he spends most of his time, although he's been favouring his cocconut the last couple of days. he tends to use the other as a toilet and doesnt spend much time in there. might try covering three sides just in case. also as his 10 days is now up, should i feed him tonight or leave it till tomorrow?? |

p.s forgot to mention earlier that temps are measured with a double ended digital thermometer-one for each end |
