I am officially not handling them for the nexy month-phew!
Two more babes today -another snow (well its pink and white) and a brown one. Second one bit me and the third is so chilled at the moment. Although I've actually done nothing and cooked 8 of them I can officially say I breed snakes on my CV! |

Two questions - at what point do I start to worry that the two out of five eggs haven't hatched as three pipped within 24 hours and that was three days ago? Also the first snake is markedly smaller to the rest - is that just random and does being small mean there could be health problems (I know I'm getting worked up over EVERYTHING!)?
I've posted pics on the photo page so have a look and tell me what type of snakes (in easy and hard language) my beauties are! Sorry if I can't reply straight away but we're STILL in the process of moving! |

Have you candelled the other eggs to see if they are fertile?
Its not unusual to get a smaller (runt) hatchling. |

Just got connected in new house.
The tiny snake won't eat after braining, and I don't think I can force feed it! One snake is a complete lunatic and nearly ended up down the plug whole the other day (hubby's fault), and the other is chilled. The eggs still haven't hatched although a couple of days ago there was a change in one of the shapes as if something was moving, however although they are still full the shell is beginning to look slightly mouldy on both. I fear the move may have killed them. |

Get us pics mate. But concerning the "gridded top" I'd say about 2months plus as Money said. Are they feeding ok? Cornies are always good feeders. Leave the eggs, they'll eventually come out. |
