i read on here a while ago that you could sex a snake by counting the scales down from the tail ive done that and there are about 53 scales but cant find the post to say whether that means its a girl or a boy?! could any one tell me please pinkys 3 and a bit feet long not sure whether the size means anything to how many scales there should be but will put it just in case i have tried taking him/her for probing but each time we go they say they can tell which sex he/she is

cheers any hints on how to get him probed accurately cause evry time they do it they say he must be stressed as he has tensed up and they cant tell whether he is either a large male or small female not sure what they mean by this but thats what they normally say right after they say they cant say either way lol or should i just keep taking him back to the reptile shop regularly to hopefully get a successful probe?!

As blackecho said, i wouldn't trust it, but they say on few sites that 130 or less a girl, 140 or more a boy and 130-140 could be either.
So i doubt its very accurate! Also its prob easier to do it with a perfect shedded skin. |

Have they tried using lubricant on the sexing probes? I heard that helps with tense corns.
