yea she was lookin at them, i think she said she now wants the Okeetee one because she saw it on the morph site you posted. But do all the Okeetee Hatchlings go from the brown to the bright orange when theyre adult? If she gets one should it be the same sex as mines incase they accidentally breed?

Okeetee is basically a normal that has thicker black bandings (I think?).

ah right o.k. Should she get it the same sex as mines to prevent accidental breeding?

I'd get the same sex if you definitely won't want them to breed, unless you get a separate viv and then it doesn't really matter.

yea well when my snake is older im going to breed him, but for now i definately dont want to. its just that we dont want to have to constantly be keeping them apart and not let them go near each other. So i guess will have to get same sex :D

What sex is your corn?

If yours is female, then if you get a male hatchling and keep it in a faunarium until it's older, then it might be mature at the right time you would be thinking about breeding. Females have to be about 3 years old to breed safely, but males can be younger, because obviously they don't do any of the hard work

well im 99% sure hes male but im going to get it checked for sure next week. Well hes only 8months old so i wont be breeding him for a while but i wuld just be worried if my sister got a female and they had a little 'accident' so when he is a bit older im going to buy a female and just start breeding them because at the moment my mum wont let me :( but in 3 years ill be 18 so i can rebel!!! :D

You're 15! God, I thought you were older than that. Think it's because you write in completed sentences and can spell

Most teenagers nowadays write only in text speak and you need to spend 10 minutes working out what they've said

I think you are doing the right thing getting yours sexed before you buy another, it's so easy to get it wrong were snake gender is concerned.

Actually, it's females that grow bigger- well in boas and pythons anyway.

Not sure about corns, my minds gone blank, but I'm sure someone else will know.

well i suppose I wouldnt mind if hes a girl because then i wont have to buy a baby female and wait 3 years or have to spend more money to get one already 3 years old to breed them. I dunno. Either way im happy.
