went today to get some new thermometers for tank but went to a recommended shop by a friend got there saw a lovely viv and got talking to the owner he was showing me some of the rescue snakes he has which he does for the rspca when we was talking explained about my viv and set up which bought last week from a different shop when he starts telling me that the viv isnt good enough and the set up was poor for the money i paid well agreed with him as when we got home and stopped bouncing around with excitment realised the viv was a cheap poor put together excuse which wasnt very secure tried fitting lock but glass wasnt tough enough and cracked replaced glass and thats how we ended up there well top and bottom of it is walked out today with new viv and another corn in need of rescue but abit worried about putting horatio in new viv with tas andy(shop owner) says this is fine but wondered what everybody else thought sorry for the long essay husband always says i go on |

just read it back to myself realised didnt put why feeling awful its because the first viv wasnt right and escape was round the corner |

yes feeling better decided to give horatio his first feed today as he was really active in viv and i thought he looked hungry i was right took 2 fuzzies looking happy and content now still wondering why i was told to wait a week before feeding him even though he was due to feed the day i bought him what do people use as substrate got conflicting opions from both shops one says chippings one says aspen just dont know my head going to explode |

Beech chippings is very popular for Corns. I certainly use it. |

i use aspen or beech chips depends whats in shop at the time |

I think you can get some trainers made from Hemp too. It must be one of those 3 things, can't see it being anything else |

Fish food, Koi love it.
What other uses for hemp is there then?? Mind you, a shop up the road from me sells hemp vodka. |

Glad your sorted. When i get my snake i will be using aspen bedding. And Kehhlyr i use hemp for my fishing LOL. I use it to bait up. Fish love the stuff. |
